Ed began his career in the Emerging and Mid-Sized Business Services Functional Group of the predecessor firm to Deloitte & Touche, where he became a senior manager before leaving to start his own practice. Since 1988, Ed has been owner and principal of a certified public accounting and certified management accounting practice which provides management advisory, accounting, tax and financial services to small and growing businesses and their owners. Ed has diverse experience in management consulting, including business valuation, design and implementation of accounting systems and business expansion, as well as all aspects of tax planning and compliance, and general and specific audit services.
Ed prides himself on being readily available to clients and providing them with personalized and professional service at all times.
Ed is active in the community where he is on a number of boards of nonprofit organizations. He is also an active member of the Connecticut Socitey of Certified Public Accountants and has served on a number of committees. In addition, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.
Ed lives in North Branford with his wife and four children. |

John's career began with the Small Business Services Group of Deloitte & Touche where he remained for twelve years and progressed to senior management. Beyond developing expertise in the auditing, accounting and tax arenas, John developed significant specialties dealing with employee benefit plans and manufacturing companies.
In addition to working with small businesses, John has considerable expertise working with nonprofit and governmental entities, including OMB Circular A-133 and A-128 audits.
John is well established outside the firm of Pikaart Visconti and Associates, P.C. where he is an adjunct professor for several area universities. He also lectures for the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Socitey of Certified Public Accountants. John has served several nonprofit agencies and sits on various boards. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.
John brings a 'hands on' approach to serving his clientele and prides himself on timely service and constructive value added business advice.
John is a life-long Connecticut resident and resides in Cheshire with his wife and two children. |
